Leading provider of exceptional nursing, residential and dementia care homes for elderly people, AgeCare UK, has been nominated in a total of four categories in the prestigious National Care Awards.
The National Care Awards, now in its 26th year, celebrates the very best in long-term care. AgeCare UK has received nominations in the following categories of the 2024 Awards: Care Home Group (Medium), Dementia Care Manager of the Year, Care Activities Co-ordinator of the Year, and Supplier of the Year – Tech & Learning.
Since its journey began in February 2023, AgeCare UK has undergone a remarkable transformation, acquiring homes from three different companies and building them into a cohesive portfolio. The company currently comprises nine homes, spread between London, the South East and the East of England, with a head office in Radlett, Hertfordshire. There are seven residential and two nursing homes, caring for a total of 419 residents who are living with a range of needs from elderly frail, end of life and dementia to communication through challenging behaviours.
“As a young company, AgeCare is delighted to be recognised in four separate categories for this year’s National Care Awards,” said Parul Patel, AgeCare UK’s Marketing and Communications Lead. “We are particularly thrilled to be nominated in the prestigious medium-sized care home group category. This covers providers with between 9 and 40 homes, and we are up against some stiff competition.
“I’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our dedicated team for their passion, professionalism and hard work. We are delighted that this is being recognised in these award nominations.”
The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 29th November at The Platinum Suite, ExCel London.
