Care home recruitment open day

15 February 2020

blog jobs open day

Looking for a care home job in Cambridge?

Waterbeach Lodge is happy to invite you to our first Recruitment Open Day on February 29th, 2020.

On the day you will have the opportunity to talk to the management and staff about why working in care can be such a rewarding job.

Our team will be on site to discuss any topics you may wish to understand more about as well as the various roles available within a care home.

You can see first hand the magnificent interior in which our staff work, the state of the art equipment we use to support our residents as well as experience our tailor made dementia wing.

The following is a basic itinerary for the day:

What will this event involve?

  • Find out all about the jobs available now in a care home scenario
  • Meet many of the staff and residents in one place
  • Book an on-the-day interview
  • You may even leave with a job offer!

We are looking for caring and compassionate people interested in the following job roles:

  • Day Care Assistant
  • Night Care Assistant
  • Senior Care Assistant
  • Non-care roles including housekeeping, kitchen and laundry

Why should I attend?

This is bigger and better than your average recruitment day. As well as the chance to meet the majority of staff and management at the home, you can join us for coffee and a cake too!

What do I need to do now?

Please let us know you’ll be attending by either contacting us directly through the website or via our Facebook event link

What do I need to bring on the day?

You do not need to have a CV to come along and speak to us, but if you do, please bring along your CV as well as any other supporting documents or qualifications you may have. This will give us the chance to talk through your experience and qualifications. If you do not have a CV yet, you can collect an application form on the day that will help you through the recruitment process. It would also be ideal for you to bring along your photo ID and proof of national insurance.

Don’t delay, if you’re looking for a care home job you should contact us today about joining us on Saturday, February 29th. We all look forward to seeing you there!
