Everyone loves fish and chips, and the residents and staff at Muscliff Care Home in Bournemouth are no exception.
At a recent fish and chip supper evening, residents and staff tucked into their favourite evening meal alongside some special guests.
“We enjoy regular themed suppers at Muscliff,” said Care Home Manager, Dedrey Charles. “On this occasion we were joined by members of the local community from the Holy Epiphany Church, Bournemouth, which was very appropriate since the meal took place on a Friday!”
Dedrey and her team ensure that residents are enabled to maintain their connection with the community and get the most out of life. Group and individual trips to local shops and parks are daily occurrences. Residents are also encouraged to continue any lifelong hobbies and interests to keep them active. “We encourage visits from family, friends, children and pets at any time,” said Dedrey. “As well as visits from the local church community, we also enjoy visits from the local primary school where groups of children regularly interact with our residents in a variety of fun and stimulating ways.”
