Retired Nurse finally sees her wish come true

16 February 2024

Janet Louwe – A resident of Bullsmoor Lodge had only one wish at 83 years old, and that was to get her ears pierced. Her wish came true and she was ecstatic.

After spending her life taking care of others she was unable to wear any earrings throughout her 40 year career. She started her career as a ward sister in 1961 and worked in several hospitals over the years. Jo Mason, the Director of Care at AgeCare was thrilled to hear about Janet’s request and decided to make it a reality.
